IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH is a German image-processing and industrial camera company headquartered in Obersulm. Founded in 1997 by Jürgen Hartmann and Armin Vogt, IDS has grown from a two-person company into an internationally active, owner-managed family business. The company develops and produces cameras at its German headquarters and operates branches and representative offices in Europe, Asia and the USA.

IDS provides industrial cameras, 2D cameras, 3D cameras, monitoring cameras, AI-supported models, uEye cameras, Ensenso 3D camera systems, IDS NXT intelligent cameras and software for image processing.
