Contrinex is a Swiss industrial sensor technology group headquartered in Corminboeuf, in the canton of Fribourg. Founded in 1972 by Peter Heimlicher, the company has grown from a one-person operation into an international group with more than 500 employees worldwide. Contrinex is especially associated with inductive and photoelectric sensors, miniature sensors, long-range detection, full-metal housings, RFID and safety systems for demanding industrial environments.
