Photonfocus AG is a Swiss machine vision technology company based in Lachen. Founded in 2001 as a spin-off from the Swiss research centre CSEM, Photonfocus develops CMOS image sensor and camera technologies for sophisticated imaging applications. Since 2020, Photonfocus has been part of the Swedish Atlas Copco Group. The company’s focus is high-performance imaging, not commodity camera distribution.
