Westermo is a Swedish industrial data communication company headquartered in Västerås. Founded in 1975 by Tore Andersson, Westermo began with industrial line-driver technology and has developed into a manufacturer of robust data communication products for mission-critical systems in physically demanding environments. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ependion and focuses on reliable industrial networks where downtime, harsh conditions or cybersecurity risk can have serious consequences.
