Vision Components is a German embedded vision company based in Ettlingen. The company was founded in 1996 by Michael Engel, inventor of the first intelligent camera suitable for industrial use. Vision Components develops and produces embedded vision systems and intelligent components for image processing, with a strong focus on compact, programmable and OEM-ready technologies made in Germany.
